I went to see you by the riverbank
time passed us by
like the wind passes
like memories escape
like love disguises itself.
We were young even if we didn't want to be
we were actors in our narrative for you
we were eyes permeated by dreams
simple worlds that united and gave
and ran in waves in the advancing world.
I went to see you
and in that longing
we kissed
and embraced.
